Orphans Day 2: Summer Edition
On July 16th 2021, we had the pleasure of hosting a second Orphans day summer edition ☀️☀️!
Our team got to meet several adorable and creative children. They took in part in each of our workshops that day:
- The Arts workshop 🎨
- The Trivia quiz🎲
- The Music workshop 🎶
- The Dance workshop💃
And finally, to congratulate those who distinguished themselves in our different activities won prizes!🎉🥳🏆
We danced, sang, painted all together and it was AWESOME !🤩🙌 we cannot wait to hold another Orphans day in the future!
We also want to thank all the volunteers and orphans who showed up. Thank you, without you this event wouldn’t even have happened🙌❤.
Excellence Award
On July 11th, 2021, our team had the pleasure of visiting Chouaibe Bacharou at Maison d’enfants Akkari (Orphanage at Akkari). He distinguished himself by getting the best average at his school !🙌👏
In order to congratulate him for his work, his resolution as well as his perseverance, of which we are very proud🤗, we offered him an excellence reward which contains a laptop and a certificate !
Book Drive
On July 2nd, 2021 we led our first book drive! 🙌🏼 Over 200 books were donated ! We want to thank everyone who supported our cause and donated because of you we started building a library for the orphans and the destitute because we believe that they should have access to knowledge too. 📓📚
We are also going to be receiving more books soon !❤
Orphans Day
On May 9th, 2021, Ahram Juniors organized its first Orphans day ceremony at Mcdonald’s Hay Riad.
First, we took the orphans shopping at LC WAIKIKI and got them really nice Eid clothes. Then, we all headed to Mcdonald’s for lunch, it was the ideal opportunity to share a fun-filled afternoon!
Finally, we distributed the excellence awards to our two winners: Hanane DRAUI and Achraf BELFAA.
But what’s the excellence award? Great question! The excellence award is an award given to the orphans who academically distinguished themselves in order to congratulate them for their efforts and encourage them to keep up the great work! The excellence award is composed of a Laptop and a Certificate
Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen! And again congratulations to Hanane and Achraf for winning the excellence award. 🎉🎉
Fundraiser
Many organizations work on orphans' care. They give them clothes, food... However, during these very hard times ( COVID19 ), many orphans do not have laptops or tablets to ensure their online education. With your donations, you'll be not only contributing to their education but also making sure they have equal access to technology. After all, the future is digital and our future leaders should be prepared.
